I remember finding an entire second assortment of these (including a gold cylon!) at a store on clearance for .49 cents each in 1980. Didn't even know they had made anything beyond the ones shown in the tv commercial. Shame there were never vehicles to go with any of them. I always thought it was odd that Mattel chose to make the vehicles so much smaller, and included tiny little figures that weren't compatible with these action figures.

Regarding the commercial, is there any way to find out who is doing the voice-over? He sounds familiar (like an actor who usually plays "bad guys") but I can't place him.
