I read a bunch of his stuff growing up (big Micronauts & Rom fan). He’s forced to live out his life in a hospital with 24 hour care b/c some driver did a hit-and-run on him when he was rollerblading back in the early ’90s.

I’ve never seen the show, but I picked up a few issues of the Marvel comic recently. It was written by Bill Mantlo, who also wrote the Micronauts comic series and the entire ROM run of comics.
