Oh…. listen to that Spiderman album! It’s online. Definitely…. er…. a thing…. that exists. Actually, it’s not great but not totally bad. Sounds like the playlist of a live musical that didn’t happen.

I love Sesame merch and I would love that Ernie mold, BUT… it kind of looks like the fake turd we used to buy from Spencer’s Gifts!

The makers of the Sinbad game must have figured that if Sinbad was public domain, so were the creatures in the movies. Thing is, Ray Harryhausen’s beasties were usually brand new creations — satyr-legged Cyclops, two-headed rocs, the sorceress with a bird’s leg, etc. — so Columbia Pictures could have gone after them.

“Bad Genie” may be a lift from “Jack the Giant Killer”, stripped of his Irishness. “Man-Eating Skull” is just lazy. And “Fire-Eating Dragon” just careless.

That SWAT team is the second line of the Heroes in Action toys. The exact same moulds for the figures from the Army line just in blue instead of green. The bases were much more plain though as the Army line had partial walls etc. The SWAT van is just a box on wheels with details provided by stickers. So disappointing.

I kind of know what you mean- In my early teens, I was VERY into the comic book, Sgt. Rock. The art of those S. Rock, comic books, was [fantastic!].

Sooo…inspired by the comic book, I went out + bought a: 4 inch tall, Sgt. Rock, action figure, that was sold [on a bubble card].

I immediately regretted it, when I got home.
Whatever company made the figure, made it as: a “dollar store”-level of cheap-looking, olive-drab figure, with peach-colored skin, + a permanently attached, army helmet.

It was no fun to look at, at all!

It made me want to look at my- 4 inch…Star Wars action figures, and my- 4 inch…G I Joe figures, to make sure that they weren’t ashamed of me + my purchase. 😀 😀
