So when this Gold Centurion offer came out, I was ready! I remember the ad was actually on the inside cover of an issue of Marvel's BG comic book, which I promptly cut up to get the order form. (The cover art was duplicated in one of the interior panels, so I thouight it was no loss… ah, kid logic!)

Still have that figure packed away somewhere, and have since replaced the cut up comic book!
