Whaaat ? Not a fan of EMERGENCY !.. ? As a child , I always looked at the wall clock and quizzically noticed the Emergencies occurred at 10 , 30 then 50 minutes past the hour . Always three per episode and just enough to keep the action going . Besides , Randy Mantooth may be the ONLY active actor from the Plaid Stallion's era who is still active .. mmm ?

Old enough to remember when it was mostly lithographed metal. HQs, western streets, service stations (seemed to be lots of those), dollhouses, barns, and so on.

I would get annoyed about things being printed onto the walls -- windows, furniture, counters with people behind them, etc. Having the little plastic people knock on a picture of a door or stand in front of a picture of a chair just didn't cut it for me. Never mind that they couldn't sit down anyway. It was the principle of the thing.

I remember getting my niece a Fisher-Price Sesame Street. While much simpler in design than the lithographed wonders, the doors and windows were functional, and the furniture was real. That impressed me no end.

I'm a huge Emergency! fan, but even as a kid I think I would've complained about that being a 2-story setup with a pole, because they didn't have that.

S.W.A.T. was fun, but they didn't have a computer. Or are those land mines in a wall cabinet?
