I know I had a bunch of those astronauts lying around – never knew where they came from. Not sure if I had any of the others, but of course I had a pile of generic green U.S. soldiers (Vietnam era I suppose since they carried M16s).

Overall though I was into more upscale plastic soldiers, primarily Britains and Airfix from various historical eras – Greeks/Romans, Middle Ages, American Revolution, Napoleonic Wars, Civil War, WW2, modern age, etc.
