If it’s from Italy and is called “Judo Boy”, then I think to be able to shed some light on the puzzle.

Judo Boy is the italian title for an old anime from 1969 called Kurenai Sanshiro. It arrived here in Italy in the 1980 during our roughly 15 years long “anime boom” started in the 1978.
Sanshiro’s father was a grand master martial artist but one day he is ambushed and killed by a man: the only detail about this mysterious man known to Sanshiro is that he is missing an eye: the series is about Sanshiro travelling around the world in a quest to find the one-eyed man and avenge his father.
That puzzle for what I can see was the typical unofficial cheap kind of product aimed to cash on the series popularity, but made with nothing even vaguely resembling the genuine Judo Boy other than the name (not the art style, not the likeness, not the clothes and not even the colors).

Interesting, I’d never heard of Judo Boy before.
