I had that beach towel. One summer, my grandparents rented a cottage on the Georgia coast for a month, and I went down for 2 weeks. My first trip to what would become my favorite beach town. It was the summer I started buying comics on a regular basis. I still remember the books I got on that trip, and I still have them. And this was my towel. If it somehow turns out that it’s still at my parents’ house somewhere, I’ll let you know.

Big Bird on Black Velvet and that little boy smiiiiiile. He looks more like Cocoa Puffs’ Sonny.
I just bought the Star Trek pajamas. They’ll display nicely with my Empire Strikes Back pajamas.

I don’t usually look at 5 Things because it invariably makes me want to spend money on something I had no idea I desperately needed, but I couldn’t resist that Big Bird painting. Slap the Captain Kremmen merch and I couldn’t resist! I don’t even know where I saw the Kenny Everett show here in the States, but I do remember it. The reason for THAT is pretty obvious.

Recently rewatched the V series too. Havent seen it since it’s original airdate. The one thing that stuck out to me watching it again is Diana’s delivery of her lines is almost exactly like Tim Curry in Rocky Horror.
