I had some of those ’76 soldiers but they were originally made at least 4 or 5 years before the Bicentenial because by the time ’76 rolled around I would’ve been well entrenched in Mego, Big Jim and the Lone Ranger and I would have paid no attention to something like this. I don’t ever remember carded sets, though, I got mine from Woolworth and they were packed in baggies. The company also made wild west figures in the same style. Most of what I had were the western figures but a few of those Revolutionary War figures made their way into that little collection.

I agree. You were “hard done by”, aka cheated, by the makers of the comic book- Bicentennial DC treasury edition [tm], with Superman on the cover.

Ugh. I hate to be that guy, but here we go: Green Lantern was on the later Super Powers: Galactic Guardians series. So, he never shared screen time with Wendy and such. I can’t remember if Flash made a cameo beforehand, like Plastic Man or Green Arrow.
It’s hard to tell, but all the Super Villains are either Batman villains or from Flash’s Rogues Gallery. I think Joker is the only one who made an appearance. I remember Penguin maybe being there, but I may be mixing it up from when he was on the New Scooby Doo Movies.
