Did this toy line last long enough to be boosted by the 1980 cartoon series and 1981 movie? Or was there a separate toy line at that time?

I had a Lone Ranger and Butch Cavendsh. Imagine my dismay when I went to turn the wrists and the hands fell right off. Unlike Gi Joe which had sturdy plastic pegs in the wrist these had just a thin piece of rubber for a post and snapped upon attempting turn the wrists. I loved the figures the outfits looked great the guns were highly detailed but the hands were the weakness. Sadly I never had them again because I knew they would get messed up again and I didn't have the money to replace them.

For Christmas 1975 I asked for the Lone Ranger and Tonto. My mother bought me the Lone Ranger, Silver, Tonto, Scout, and Little Bear - Tonto's cousin - because my mom thought he looked cute. I loved those figures - taller than MEGO - but not as tall as GI Joe. The horses were and are still AMAZING!!!
The base allowed you to pose the Ranger on Silver with the front legs in the air.

I still have them boxed AND loose and will never part with them.
