1976 Hasbro Defender selection

Defender was Hasbro's attempt to counteract all the knock offs of G.I. Joe that were being produced, a simple blow molded figure who shared a head with Bulletman , Defender's outfits comprised mainly of recycled Joe pieces and for some reason he was given a cool tank. It's hard to say as to whether or not this was a wise move for Hasbro. They obviously weren't too proud of him as they declined to put the Hasbro logo on the packaging!
