1986 Collegeville Halloween Costume Catalog
Collegeville was one of the leading halloween costume manufacturers of the late twentieith century.
This extensive 1968 catalog really demonstrates the power house licenses they were rocking in the 60s, including Labyrinth, The Transformers and the Go-Bots, WWF Wrasslers, Wuzzles, Rainbow Bright and the Peanuts, it's a good group and some solid 1980s nostalgia..
Usually these catalogs lead with a license on the cover but this year it wasn't so.
Collegeville hoped thay labyrinth was the big hit of summer 1986, it wasn't.
Having both the Transformers and Go-Bots was a smart move, I wonder which sold better? No, I don't actually wonder that, please don't email me.
I have zero memory of these characters, being a 16 year old boy at the time probably has a lot to do with that.
See above statement.
Not that I know Wrestling well but shouldn't there be a Hulk Hogan?
Collegevill ran with Casper for decades, the Nerds Candy costume is memorable but what is a "Sweet Sea"?
These were a terrible idea.
I love generic monsters but that's Lon Chaney Jr on that werewolf smock Collegeville!
Angry Casper!
I had and cherished that mildly terrible Creature from the Black Lagoon mask. Would love to reunite with him.
