AMT or Aluminum Metal Toys is a world famous company known to this day (although they are now AMT/ERTL thanks to a 1981 buy out) for their plastic car model kits.

However, to non gearhead children of the 70's, AMT is best known for their line of Star Trek model kits, which I am quite familiar with..

The Trophy car series is probably one of the better known AMT series of car models.
