Simpson's was a Canadian department chain that lasted over 100 years before folding up in the 1990's. Many Canadians will remember the partnership they had with Sears, the stores were co-branded "Simpson's Sears" in many areas, which probably caused a lot of confusion.

This 1983 Toy Catalog is primarily how Simpsons advertised as I recall, by putting a light weight mail order catalog in Newspapers. I used to drool over these things! A lot of the bigger names are in these piece with some really well laid out pages, wish this kind of attention to detail was still around...
