Turbines to Speed! Atomic Batteries to Power!

My buddy Scott sent me these wicked Sears Batman vehicles and it gives me the old “I’d have had a blast with these as a kid” thoughts.Oddly I did have a ride on car very similiar to that Jaguar, which I pretended to be a Batmobile.

Oh my God!!! That’s my Batmobile!!!

I had that Batmobile (and a Batcycle) as a kid. One of the wheels broke, and my dad threw it out. I hunted for it for years until my wife found it for me during the early days of ebay. Even though I now have it back, I’ve never been able to find much info on it!

Thanks a million! You made my day Brian and Scott!!!

That was me above by the way.

Here’s a pic of my Batmobile. It’s a bit scuffed, and missing some things, but it’s still a personal Holy Grail.

I had the jaguar. I think I must have gotten it around 73 or 74. I still have some pictures of me driving around in it.

I recall hitting a big chrome bumper as I cruised down the sidewalk and busted the sideview mirror.
