Code Red Fireman Set (eBay Link)-

Code Red is a largely forgotten one season show that happens to be the last series Irwin Allen every produced. I never missed it, it had Commander Adama, Flash Gordon, Nicholas Bradford and the Creature from the Black Lagoon’s main squeeze as a family of fire fighters.  Even I had sort of forgotten about it until i saw this Rack Toy by Imperial.

Robot Man with Four Faces (eBay Link)

This figure is one of the favourites in my collection, it just knocks off everything. You get Maskatron, GI Joe (although that’s technically Dynaman, a Joe clone) and Cornelius from the Planet of the Apes. I’m sorry a toy with this much chutzpah and John Saxon trumps anything made by Hot Toys for me.

AstroJammas (eBay Link)

This might be the most incredible item I’ve ever featured on 5ATOE.  A one-piece pajama for Men of Action to Sleep-in and Swing-in? What better a recommendation can you get than “As worn by Ricardo Moltoban on Star Trek?”. They say you can’t fake “BDE” but my friends, I think you can buy it.

I had my birthday party at McDonald’s shirt (eBay link)

I had my sixth birthday at Mcdonald’s; it was 70s suburban kid magic! I did not receive a shirt, and I must right this wrong. So I will be buying this and stretching it across my ample frame.

Super Burst Rifle

Super Burst Rifle 2 (eBay Link)

I cannot get over post-Star Wars generic Space Toys; they’re so weird and wonderful. I adore the middle-aged hero on the box, looking like he came right out of an Italian Star Wars knock-off film.

I bought a reproduction McDonalds birthday shirt a couple years back (I think it was on Etsy). So take heart – you can have such a shirt in your size, provided the seller hasn’t been thrown in jail by Big Mac for copyright violation.

I love the graphic on the stock of the Super Burst Rifle II (Electric Bugaloo). It looks like it’s ready to announce 20 exciting hits by 20 exciting artists.

When I saw the thumbnail for this article, I thought that the PJ set was made specifically for this site 🙂
