Marvel Comics promotional wing had some big clients in the seventies, producing not only the comics for Mattel's Big Jimseries but two for Ideal as well, S.T.A.R Team and this one about one of the most successful Toy lines of the 1970s, Evel Knievel. "Evel Knievel in "The Periloius Traps of Mr Danger" is your typical comic fair, crowbarring in as many ways to feature the Ideal Toys in action as possible. In 16 pages, Evel uses his Stunt Cycle, Scramble Van, Sky Cycle and Crash Car. This piece was never sold but given away at toy stores, what kid didn't grab one of these?
