Fisher Price Muppet show 1981

1981 and the world wide phenom known as the Muppet Show was still going strong buoyed mainly by it's second feature film "The Great Muppet Caper" that summer. Fisher Price, was still popping out the merchandise and made several new editions to line including Piggy in her Pigs in Space Uniform.

I kind of don't have a lot to say here, while I still regularly watched the Muppet Show (mostly to catch the Star Wars one), I rarely thought much about the merchandise, I was ten and had vowed a blood oath to Kenner.

I did a little research and these dress up dolls did see release, I even found some on eBay..

The Pigs in Space Piggy really surprised me, I had not seen (or noticed) one at any toy show I've been to.

I have a soft spot in my heart for those Muppet Show action figures....
